Team Building Training: Senegal

MLI launched Phase 1 of a long term organizational development and team building training for the reproductive health division (DSR) in the Ministry of Health and Prevention in Senegal. This training was at the request of Dr. Bocar Daff, Director of Reproductive Health, who thought it a priority to invest in his team’s development to meet the objectives of Senegal’s ambitious Reproductive Health Strategic Plan. He found it necessary to partake in this level of capacity building to strengthen a dynamic, performing and structured team working to achieve the goals of the DSR. Phase 1 included a consultative process with Dr. Daff and his staff to agree on the methodologies and approaches proposed. At the conclusion of Phase 1, participants developed an action plan outlining the priority activities that will be included in Phase 2, which will begin in February.
